Why are we doing this?
MathIntensity tutors understand that we need to start every student's math journey from the Absolute Basics in order to build his/her foundation to excellence. We recognize that we cannot teach a child to count money without first teaching him to add and subtract, a child cannot successfully master fractions without first mastering multiplication and division, and so on and so on. Whether elementary or higher learning, it all begins with having that very first layer of the student's foundation in place. We refer to that most urgent level of learning as the Absolute Basics. We acknowledge that, unfortunately, not all students can afford long term tutoring. That very roadblock birthed the concept of MathIntensity's Absolute Basics program... An affordable stand-alone introduction to our foundational math program. Our mission has always been to help as many children as we could by any means necessary. The Absolute Basics program is helping us do just that!
